What to know before you start uploading fonts

QR TIGER vCard accepts TrueType (TTF), OpenType (OTF), Web Open Font Format (WOFF), and Web Open Font Format 2.0 (WOFF2) font file formats. Each file must remain under 5 MB.

Uploaded fonts stay private to the account that uploaded them. They are not shared with other account holders and organizations. This means you have exclusive rights to use the custom fonts.

Role access also matters:

  • Admins can upload, delete, and use custom fonts.
  • Editors can only use fonts already uploaded by the admin.

Additionally, uploaded fonts do not apply to all vCards by default. To use custom fonts in vCard, you need to choose the font manually in the “Font Family” when creating or editing a vCard, or when setting up a vCard template.

Why do custom fonts matter in vCards?

The right font choice does more than change the look of your vCard.

  • Align vCards with your brand style.
  • Make the vCard look more professional.
  • Give users more design control.
  • Help teams keep templates consistent.
  • Make key contact details easier to read.

Keep your vCards on-brand

Custom fonts give your vCards a closer brand match across new cards, edited cards, and templates.

Upload your file once, choose the font where needed, and keep every design consistent within your account. Your team gets more style control, while your fonts stay private to the right workspace.
