A creative studio built on shared purpose

Based in Valletta, Malta, Mediacoop is an active member-owned cooperative founded in 1997. It strives to deliver media, communications, marketing, and training projects with a hands-on approach.

Mediacoop’s headquarters houses state-of-the-art audio-visual studios and production facilities, where most of the creative magic takes place.

The team may be small, but each member carries years of professional experience and a sense of ownership that fuels every campaign. Their shared responsibility shows up in the quality of their films, campaigns, and educational projects.

One of Mediacoop’s notable clients is the Mysterium Fidei Museum, a cultural and historical attraction at the heart of Valletta.

The co-op developed the museum’s app, featuring self-guided audio tours and digital content, which offers visitors a more immersive journey into the underground world beneath St. Catherine’s Monastery.

“We’re a team of six members, most of whom are communications, marketing, and management graduates.

Why did you start using QR codes?

“We began using QR codes as part of our efforts to link traditional media with digital experiences. 

Initially, they served as a simple bridge to websites and videos, but the arrival of dynamic QR codes completely changed the game for us.
