Meeting the standards: QR TIGER as a recognized GS1 solution partner

QR TIGER on GS1 Partnership

QR TIGER began collaborating with the GS1 organization in 2024 to help customers adopt GS1 Standard-based QR codes more quickly and address challenges more efficiently.

Now certified as a solution partner of GS1 US, UK, and Singapore, QR TIGER further provides businesses with wider access to GS1-approved Digital Link QR code generator solutions.

Benjamin Claeys, CEO and founder of QR TIGER—a globally recognized QR code solution provider trusted by businesses across 150+ countries, sees the GS1 certifications as a pivotal step in making standardized QR technology accessible to all industries.

“Becoming an official GS1 US Solution Partner marks an important step in our mission to help businesses adopt smarter, globally standardized QR code solutions that improve transparency, efficiency, and customer engagement,” he noted.

He also expressed the company’s commitment to driving innovation and helping brands prepare for the future of connected commerce, in accordance with GS1 Standards

The partnerships establish QR TIGER as a trusted provider that companies can rely on to use authentic GS1 product identification numbers, such as Global Trade Item Numbers (GTINs), and to guide them in meeting industry and regulatory requirements.

Additionally, vendors, retailers, and manufacturers can standardize product attributes through QR TIGER, which now provides direct access to GS1 US Color and Size Codes.

As for the software company, the partnerships provide additional opportunities to further enhance its Digital Link solutions.

This will help more businesses meet product identification and data-sharing standards, reduce errors and improve accuracy across the supply chain, build customer trust through smoother operations, and connect them with trusted experts who understand global business standards.

Sunrise 2027 looks bright

The shift to Digital Link QR codes is expected to eventually replace UPC and EAN barcodes from point-of-sales and point-of-care systems. With “Sunrise 2027" kickstarting, efforts are underway to give industries sufficient time and resources to fully adopt 2D barcodes as the new standard.

As a recognized partner of GS1 US, UK, and Singapore, QR TIGER is more than ready to help shift the world from traditional 1D barcodes to Digital Link QR codes.

For Claeys, their partnerships with GS1 US and other GS1 member organizations worldwide mean that “businesses can expect seamless integration of GS1 Digital Link standards into their operations, enabling more accurate product identification, better supply chain visibility, and richer consumer experiences.”

It is only a matter of time before businesses speak the same language for product data.
